Mundial de Japón 2019, el ranking mundial fue implacable con Argentina que históricamente
quedó afuera de los diez primeros
lugares, tras la debacle ante Sudáfrica del pasado sábado, cuando los
Springboks arrollaron a los Pumas por 46-13 (24-13), en el Estadio Padre
Ernesto Martearena de la Ciudad de Salta. Hoy lunes 12 de agosto de 2019, Argentina se
derrumbó al 11º lugar por detrás de Fidji que le ganó a Samoa 10-3 en el
Pacific Nations Cup, y está en 10º lugar, y Japón está 9º, con la goleada a
Estados Unidos por 34-20, que lo proclamó campeón del Pacific Nations Cup por
tercera vez. Nueva Zelanda continúa 1º, aunque está agotando su crédito, tras sufrir
