 Tras dos derrotas consecutivas Irlanda se redimió en la tercera fecha del 22º Seis Naciones  2021 arrasando Italia por 48-10 (27-10), en el Olímpico de Roma. El pilar Tadhg Gerard Beirne fue Man of the Match y hubo sello sudafricano con el octavo Christiaan Johan Stander con  try  para Irlanda y del  flanker Johan Gert Meyer en único try de Italia.

El equipo entrenado por el inglés Andy Farrell levanta el ánimo con convincente victoria sobre un traumatizado equipo de Italia entrenado por el sudafricano Franco Smith, que encajó su 30º  derrota consecutiva (la 8va. ante Irlanda).

Irlanda volvió a senda ganadora con 6 tries, a través del centro  Garry Ringrose, del full back Hugo Keenan, el flanker y capitán Will Connors (2), el octavo sudafricano CJ Stander y el wing suplente  Keith Earls. El apertura y Capitán . Johnny Sexton sumó 2  penales y 6 conversiones.

Mientras que Italia, sumó con un try del flanker sudafricano Johan Gert Meyer, más 1 Penal y 1 Conversión del apertura  Paolo Garbisi.

Irlanda superó Inglaterra y Escocia en la tabla escalando al tercer lugar con 7 puntos, por detrás del líder  Gales que suma 14, y Francia 9 (un partido menos).  Inglaterra suma 6, Escocia 5 (un partido menos). Italia está al final de la clasificación sin punto alguno

After two consecutive defeats, Ireland redeemed themselves on the third date of the 22nd Six Nations 2021 by devastating Italy 48-10 (27-10), at the Stadio Oiympico in Rome. The mainstay Tadhg Gerard Beirne was Man of the Match and there was a South African stamp with the Number 8 Christiaan Johan Stander with a try for Ireland and flanker Johan Gert Meyer in the only Italian try.

England's Andy Farrell coached team lifted their spirits with a convincing victory over a traumatized Italian team coached by South African Franco Smith, who conceded their 30th consecutive loss (8th to Ireland).

Ireland returned to the winning path with 6 tries, through center Garry Ringrose, full back Hugo Keenan, flanker and captain Will Connors (2), eighth South African CJ Stander and substitute wing Keith Earls. The fly half and Captain. Johnny Sexton added 2 penalties goals and 6 conversions.

While Italy, added with a try from the South African flanker Johan Gert Meyer, plus 1 Penalty and 1 Conversion from the starter Paolo Garbisi.

Ireland overtook England and Scotland in the standings to climb to third place with 7 points, behind leaders Wales with 14 and France 9 (one game down). England have 6, Scotland 5 (one game less). Italy is at the end of the standings without any points.

Le pilier Tadhg Gerard Beirne était l'homme du match et il y avait un timbre sud-africain avec le huitième Christiaan Johan Stander avec un essai pour l'Irlande et le flanker Johan Gert Meyer dans le seul essai italien.
