 En Australia,  ya se palpita la tercera jornada del sábado en Tri Nations entre unos All Blacks que vienen de sentir el rigor de la derrota ante los Wallabien hace una semana, y que deben enfrentar la incógnita Pumas, en el Western Sydney Stadium (Bankwest) de Parramatta, al oeste de Sidney (03:10 en Argentina).

Será el debut para unos Pumas que disputaron hace más de un año un partido oficial, en el IX Mundial Japón 2019, cuando quedaron eliminados en primera ronda clasificatoria con el entrenador porteño Mario Ledesma, quién ahora junto al australiano Michael Cheika, armaron el plantel que enfrentará a los All Blacks.

Sorprende en contingente con varios lesionados, que no hayan sido convocados el centro Juan Cruz Mallía y el apertura Domingo Miotti, entre los 23 del plantel, donde aparecen titulares en el neurálgico centro de los tres cuartos,  Santiago Chocobares y Matías Orlando, que viene, precisamente, de estar lesionado.

Tanto Mallía como Miotti, destacaron ante Australia XV, su talento, su visión del juego con el kick y la dinámica para el try y para lanzar al try en la toma de decisiones. Del XV titular, 9 jugadores provienen de Buenos Aires, 2 de Córdoba, 2 de Tucumán, 1de Entre Ríos y 1 de Rosario.

Mientras que los All Blacks ‘’tras recibir patadas en el trasero’’, como dicen los titulares neozelandeses, ponen toda la carne al asador con sus figuras.  El coach e debutante, Ian Foster,  nombró  un equipo fuerte con Richie Mo'unga, Aaron Smith, Joe Moody, Patrick Tuipulotu y Jack Goodhue.

Ellos  regresan como titulares tras la derrota de la semana pasada ante Australia; por lo que Scott Barrett, TJ Perenara y Karl Tu'inukuafe fueron descartados y los debutantes Will Jordan, Cullen Grace, Asafo Aumua y Akira Ioane también dejaron la titularidad.  

El hooker Codie Taylor va como suplente, en la segunda línea  Patrick Tuipulotu, que no jugó en la derrota de Brisbane, será titular con Samuel Whitelock. Con la 6 va Shannon Frizell, el capitán Sam Cane con la 7 y Ardie Savea será el octavo.

Reaparece el apertura Richie Mo'unga con l medio scrum Aaron Smith que será titular; al centro van Jack Goodhue y Anton Lienert-Brown, en punta izquierda  reaparece el genio Caleb Clarke con Jordie Barrett por banda  derecha, y full back Beauden Barrett, que fue apertura en la derrota en Brisbane. Rieko Ioane y Damian McKenzie serán suplentes.

La última vez que se enfrentaron fue en el estadio José Amalfitani del Club Vélez Sársfield en Ciudad de Buenos Aires, el sábado 20 de julio de 2019, con victoria de 20-16, para los All Blacks que el año pasado estaban dirigidos por Steve Hansen.
