Los Pumas en su segundo amistoso de preparación al Tri Nations, ganaron en ésta madrugada en Argentina a un combinado Australia XV, por 57-24 (18-5) (40-24) en el estadio vacío de Leichhardt Oval, en Lilyfield, suburbio oeste de.la ciudad de Sídney, capital del Estado de Nueva Dales del Sur.
Fue la segunda y última confrontación
preparatoria de Argentina, antes del debut del próximo sábado 14 de noviembre
ante Nueva Zelanda, en el Western Sydney Stadium (Bankwest
Stadium) de Parramatta en el
suburbio oeste de Sidney, distante 23 kilómetros, a las 17:10 (las 07:10 en
Argentina).
Un Rugby Australia XV
que incluyó a los Wallabies Fraser McReight (flanker), Isi Naisarani (octavo) y
Joe Powell (medio scrum y capitán) le disputó una dura confrontación en el scrum y en los lines a

Santiago Carreras abrió el marcador al final de un ataque de espectacular
factura fluido que comenzó en un scrum dentro del campo de los australianos que igualaron con el wing Triston Reilly.

El octavo australiano Isi Naisarani derribó tres defensores para
anotar en el segundo período, donde apoyó el flanker porteño Pablo Matera, con

Nawaqanitawase anotó el tercer try australiano y más tarde fue Miotti con kick cruzado a lanzar al try al
full back suplente porteño Santiago Cordero que sumó un doblete. El centro
suplente cordobés Juan Cruz Mallía marcó su try, y con kick lanzó al try al
wing suplente porteño Sebastián Cancelliere.
