Australia beats New Zealand in Bledisloe Cup, and is maiden victory in Tri Nations

A week after being humiliated in Sydney by 38 points, the Wallabies have pulled off an incredible comeback to beat the All Blacks 24-22 (8-8) in the Bledisloe Cup which may still be for New Zealand, but in terms of Tri Nations, it's a great victory.

On Saturday it is the turn of Pumas vs All Blacks. It was the first victory for New Zealander coach Dave Rennie of the Wallabies who beat the All Blacks after two red cards, to tight head prop  All Black Ofa Tuungafasi (23' first half) and flanker Wallaby Lachlan Swinton (40') and yellow card All Black fly half Beauden Barrett (67').

Wallabies win All Blacks for the first time in 2020, at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, northeast Australia in an entertaining match, but clouded by indiscipline, as both teams finished the match with 14 men, for red cards to Ofa Tu'ungafasi and Lachie Swinton in the first half.

Tongan tight head prop Ofa Tu'ungafasi was sent off at 23' after making direct blow to the chin of Tom Wright, when tackling the Wallabies left wing, and flanker Lachlan Swinton was sent off at 40' for an offense similar to the lock Sam Whitelock line.

After suffering a 43-5 win against the All Blacks in Sydney last Saturday, the Wallabies were under pressure but performed better in this match and were competitive throughout, with fly half Reece Hodge starring in his second cap, adding 14 points (4 penalties goals and 1 conversion).

While the Australian tries came with left wing Tom Wright and Tongan tight head prop  Taniela Tupou. The All Blacks replicated with tries from right wing Rieko Ioane, hooker Codie Taylor and lock  substitute Tupou Vaa’i, with full back Jordie Barrett adding 1 penalty goal and 2 conversions.
