 El Cuatro Naciones Sudamericano tuvo ayer miércoles, la disputa de la segunda jornada del  Cuatro Naciones Sudamericano en el Estadio ‘’Charrúa’’ de Montevideo, Uruguay, con victorias de Argentina XV sobre los Tupis de Brasil por 40-15 y de los Cóndores de Chile ante los Teros de Uruguay por 22-21.

Con éstos marcadores  Argentina XV, que está primero por delante de los Teros de Uruguay, Los Cóndores de Chile  y los Tupis de Brasil,  buscará proclamarse  campeón al enfrentar a los Teros uruguayos; mientras que los Cóndores chilenos se ilusionan subcampeones si ganan a los Tupis brasileños.

Argentina XV entrenada por el porteño Ignacio Fernández Lobbe, el cordobés Julio César García y el tucumano Diego Ternavasio, apoyó seis tries con Ignacio Ruiz (2), Teo Castiglioni (2), Matías Osadczuk y un try penal, más tres conversiones del mismo Castiglioni y una de Santiago Mare.

En el partido de segunda hora llegó la gran sorpresa de la jornada con los Cóndores entrenados por el uruguayo Pablo Lemoine, se hizo fuerte en el Estadio Charrúa y le ganó a Los Teros entrenados por el argentino Esteban Meneses, por 22-21 (17-16) en los últimos minutos con un try a los 74’ de Alfonso Escobar.

Nuevamente los Cóndores mostraron un buen juego a lo largo del partido, ya que hasta el minuto 21 iban cayendo por 13-0. En ese minuto (21’) el capitán Martín Sigren comenzó el repunte con un try convertido por Santiago Videla y al final del tiempo pasaron al frente con una victoria parcial de 17-16.

Según  Pablo Lemoine,“Estuvimos desconcentrados al principio…. Sufrimos por desatenciones que en otras instancias no se pueden permitir, por lo que éste  triunfo le hace bien al grupo, pero es bueno no salirse del foco del trabajo que será el próximo año para clasificar al mundial”.

Los puntos del equipo de Esteban Meneses que llegó a estar 13-0 a la pausa del encuentro gracias a un try de Baltazar Amaya y otro de Federico Favaro, quien además aportó dos penales y una conversión, y un drop de Felipe Etcheverry.

La definición del Cuatro Naciones Sudamericano tendrá lugar el domingo en el Estadio Charrúa, a partir de las 14:00 hrs con los Cóndores de Chile y los Tupis de Brasil, mientras que desde las 16:45 lo harán Los Teros de Uruguay y Argentina XV, que está primero y que buscará quedarse con el título de campeón.
