Los Jaguares encajaron la décima derrota en Super Rugby 18 frente a Los Kings de Port Elizabeth que ganaron  29-22 (3-6)  en la decimocuarta fecha disputada en el Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium de Port Elizabeth, con el arbitraje del neozelandés Nike Briant. La franquicia argentina pagó caro la indisciplina sufriendo las  expulsiones del segunda línea porteño Tomás Lavanini (25’)  y del pilar derecho bonaerense Ramiro Herrera (37’)  y la amonestación del flanker santiagueño Tomás Lezana (71’). Los Jaguares tuvieron una vez más, una performance con nivel de juego impreciso, desordenado e indisciplinado y que pagó con creces en los últimos 9’ del partido, con ventaja de 22-17,  para caer por 29-22 y con doce jugadores en la cancha. El apertura tucumano Nicolás Sánchez fue el goleador con 5 penales (16’, 34’, 41’, 46’, 51’) y 1 conversión del try apoyado por el octavo santiagueño Facundo Isa (62’). Los Kings sin elaborar un plan de juego y con falta de destreza individual marcaron 4 tries con Schalk Ferreira(58’),  try-penal (71’), Dewald Human(73’), y Wandie Mjekevu (76’), más 1 penal (1’) y 3 conversiones del apertura Louis Fouche.

Fue la décima derrota de la franquicia argentina frente a los Kings por 29-22 y que se agrega a la del sábado pasado ante los Lions por 52-24. Anteriormente cayeron ante los Sharks (19-15 y 25-22), los Chiefs (30-26), los Stormers (13-8), los Blues (24-16), los Hurricanes (40-22), los Crusaders (32-15), y los Sunwolves (36-28). Las únicas victorias fueron ante los  Cheetahs (34-33) y los Kings (73-27). Los Jaguares regresarán  el domingo y el Súper Rugby 18 tendrá una pausa en junio por la ventana internacional,  hasta comienzos de julio. Los Pumas en  junio disputarán tres  amistosos ante Italia (11) en Santa Fe  y Francia (18 y 25) en San Miguel de Tucumán. Los Jaguares regresarán al  Super Rugby 18 enfrentando el 2 de julio a los "Bulls" de Sudáfrica, en el estadio de Vélez Sarsfield. Una semana más tarde, chocarán con los "Highlanders" en Dunedin extremo sur de la isla Sur de  Nueva Zelanda  y el sábado 16 de julio enfrentarán a los "Lions" en Johannesburgo, norte de Sudáfrica.
