Los All Blacks y los Pumas han formado una de las rivalidades mundiales más reñidas de los últimos años y escribirán otro capítulo el sábado en el Waikato Stadium de Hamilton (isla norte de Nueva Zelanda) y el sábado 24 en el estadio del club de fútbol  Vélez Sársfield en la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires.

Cuáles son las sensaciones de esta gira por Nueva Zelanda y Australia ?: ‘’Son dos visitas totalmente distintas,  pero ésta es la más importante ya que enfrentar a los All Blacks no se da todos los días. Por lo que trabajamos mucho en los entrenamientos y en los detalles, ya que una infracción puede ser decisiva’’. Como se enfrenta el scrum y el maul, dos alternativas trascendentes?. ‘’Es realmente un desafío ya que ambos equipos tienen distintas formas de disputarlos. Ellos cuentan con buenos jugadores de mucha experiencia. Pero preparándonos bien y haciendo las cosas como lo estamos haciendo,  vamos a lograr buenos resultados’’. La tercera ronda del Rugby Championship 2016 propone el choque de los campeones del mundo que vienen de ganar 22 partidos con 1 empate, con  los Pumas que se presentan con otro plantel integrado por varios integrantes de la nueva generación, tras la primera victoria local ante los Springboks en la segunda fecha. Hamilton (ciudad del norte de la Isla Norte de Nueva Zelanda) es un feudo de los All Blacks que vienen de ganar 11  de 12 confrontaciones, y éste desafío del sábado será la cuarta vez que ambos equipos se enfrenten en cancha del estadio Waikato FMG, siendo la última hace tres años con triunfo de 28-13 ante más de 25.000 espectadores. Disputadas dos  fechas de la edición 2016, los All Blacks suman en el liderato 10 puntos por 5 unidades de los Pumas y de los Springboks, mientras que los Wallabies cierran la tabla con 0 puntos en su haber.
