Ante los campeones All Blacks, Los Pumas buscan el 2* lugar del Cuatro Naciones - Against All Blacks champions, Pumas looking for 2* place of Four Nations.

Mañana en la quinta y penúltima ronda del V Rugby Championship 2016, los Pumas van por el segundo lugar ante los campeones All Blacks, en desafío que tendrá lugar en el estadio del club Vélez Sársfield a partir de las 19:10 hrs. Antes completan la fecha los Springboks frente a los Wallabies en el Loftus Versfeld de Pretoria a las 12:05 hrs.

Los Pumas  saben que pueden estar a la altura de Nueva Zelanda si juegan como lo hicieron en los primeros 50 minutos en la tercera fecha disputada en Hamilton,  por lo que ahora habiendo mejorado en mauls y rucks, deben continuar en  concentración mental  por 80 minutos para defender sin fisuras. Con  la torre de Urca, Matías Alemanno, reaparece en segunda línea el porteño Guido Petti Pagadizábal  y se propone otra confrontación ante el dúo formado por Brodie Retallick y Patrick Tuipulotu que regresa tras dos temporadas reemplazando a Samuel Whitelock . Otro cambio estratégico es de TJ Perenara por Aaron Smith como 9. La clave del desafío en la noche de la cancha del barrio porteño de Liniers, está en la performance del porteño Martín Landajo y del tucumano Nicolás Sánchez en la plataforma de lanzamiento, como en la tercera línea formada por el santiagueño Facundo Isa, el entrerriano Javier Ortega Desio y el porteño Pablo Matera.
