Jaguares favoritos ante Reds en quinta jornada del Super Rugby 18- Favorite Jaguares against Reds in fifth round of Super Rugby 18

Los Jaguares se presentan como favoritos ante los Reds de Brisbane, en la quinta fecha del Super Rugby 18  que se jugará el sábado en el estadio de Vélez Sársfield a partir de las 18.40 con transmisión por ESPN 2 y donde destaca el liderato del segunda línea cordobés Matías Alemanno.

En la primera línea del pack el tucumano Lucas Noguera Paz ingresará por el porteño Santiago García Botta como pilar izquierdo y en los tres cuartos el porteño Bautista Ezcurra será titular como wing por el porteño Santiago Cordero, quien no participará por protocolo de contusión.

Como suplentes van el tucumano Roberto Tejerizo como hooker por el porteño Julián Montoya lesionado, el segunda línea  porteño Guido Petti Pagadizábal va por el porteño Ignacio Larrague lesionado; y el mendocino Rodrigo Báez hará lo propio con el entrerriano Javier Ortega Desio.

El apertura tucumano Nicolás Sánchez cumplió suspensión de una fecha y va al banco por el porteño Santiago González Iglesias y el wing rosarino Emiliano Boffelli debutará en Super Rugby 18 tras recuperarse de  rotura de ligamentos cruzados y haber jugado en Argentina XV.

Lo esencial para concretar el objetivo del cuarto triunfo, los Jaguares entrenados por el rosarino Raúl Pérez, es mantener la disciplina, conservar el control nervioso y físico, crecer en los mauls y lines, como seguir en el empuje ordenado en los scrums y rucks.

Por el lado australiano, que atraviesa una crisis en su conferencia, los Queensland Reds no son la excepción y más, tras la debacle ante los Lions que golearon por 44-14 en Johannesburgo. Por lo que son horas bajas para el plantel entrenado de Nick Stiles.

Sin el apertura y goleador neozelandés Quade Cooper, sancionado por tres semanas, los Reds enfrentan un duro desafío el sábado frente a la franquicia argentina.
