Ceibos batió a Selknam en segunda fecha de la Super Liga Americana de rugby- Ceibos beat Selknam on the second round in American Super Rugby League

En un fin de semana  donde el rugby sufrió la vigencia de la pandemia Corona Virus, Ceibos y Selknam  fue la excepción a la regla, ya que se disputó en Chile  donde todavía no hay disposición gubernamental para posponer competiciones deportivas, por lo que  Ceibos ganó  32-16 (13-13),  en la segunda fecha  de la Super Liga Americana de Rugby. El encuentro disputado en el Estadio Nacional de Santiago de Chile fue el único ya que Corinthians y Olimpia Lions , no se disputó  en San Pablo, por la pandemia CoronaVirus. Selknam  y  Ceibos de Argentina  dieron el máximo de sus pretensiones, pero cometiendo  infracciones que  se convirtieron en 20 penales en contra (11 en contra de Seklknam y 9 en contra de Ceibos).También hubo tres tarjetas amarillas, 1 para Ceibos y 2 para Selknam., que redundareon en la continuidad del partido y en las pretensiones de mejores performances  para  el primer partido del rugby profesional  en Chile, y en el Estadio Nacional  ‘’Julio Martínez Prádanos’’. 

En el desafío hubo  2 tries para Selknam y 4 para Ceibos, que  escaló al liderato absoluto con 10 puntos por 4 de Selknam. Selknam con penal  del medio scrum rosarino Patricio Baronio  (7’),  pasó adelante  y Ceibos  se fue en ventaja  con try del wing  porteño Facundo Cordero, convertido por el apertura rosarino Martín Elías (14’),. Y  en final de etapa empató Selknam con try penal por manotazo de Cordero para cortar jugada de try local. Luego Selknam con penal de Baronio (45’) puso el16-13  pero  Ceibos  fue ganador, con tries del full back porteño Juan Bautista Daireaux  (48’) , convertido por el apertura tucumano Tomás Albornóz , del  doblete de Córdero (57’)  y del wing porteño Tomás Cubillas , convertido por Albornóz (78’) . En la segunda parte el hooker cordobés Leonel Oviedo,  dio más dinámica al scrum y la maniobra ofensiva argentina, mientras se cayó el rendimiento físico chileno, sumado a las dos tarjetas amarillas que  le cortaron continuidad a su maniobra ofensiva., respecto al triunfo de hace una semana sobre  Peñarol en  Montevideo. Ahora hay espera  por la continuidad del calendario, derivado de las disposiciones gubernamentales  de los países miembros, por la pandemia  COVID19 Coronavirus.  En el rugby internacional, tanto Sanzaar con el Super Rugby como el Seis Naciones , y la Mayor Leqgue norteamericana, están suspendidos.

Ceibos beat Selknam on the second round in American Super Rugby League

In a weekend where rugby suffered the prevalence of the pandemic Corona Virus, Ceibos and Selknam was the exception to the rule, since it was disputed in Chile where there is still no government provision to postpone sports competitions, for which Ceibos won 32 -16 (13-13), on the second round in American Rugby Super League. Selknam and Ceibos from Argentina gave the maximum of their claims, but committing infractions that turned into 20 penalties (11 against Seklknam and 9 against Ceibos). Then Selknam with a penalty goal from Baronio (45 ') made the 16-13 but Ceibos was the winner, with tries from the Buenos Aires’s  full back Juan Bautista Daireaux (48'), converted by the Tucuman’s fly half  Tomás Albornóz, from the double of Córdero (57 ') and from the Buenos Aires’s  wing Tomás Cubillas, converted by Albornóz (78 '). In the second half , the hooker from Cordoba, Leonel Oviedo, gave more dynamics to the scrum and the Argentinian offensive maneuver, while the Chilean physical performance fell, added to the two yellow cards that cut continuity to his offensive maneuver, with respect to the victory of a week ago on Peñarol at Montevideo. Now there is a wait for the continuity of the calendar, derived from the government regulations of the member countries, due to the COVID19 Coronavirus pandemic. In international rugby, both Sanzaar with Super Rugby and Six Nations, and the North American Major Leqgue, are suspended.
