Con el último aliento y frenando la embestida sudafricana, los Jaguares le
ganaron a los Stormers de Ciudad del Cabo por 30-25 (13-9) en la semana 12 de
la Conferencia Sudafricana del IV Super Rugby 2019 que se disputó en el estadio
del Club Vélez Sársfield de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires , por lo que van
con alto espíritu a la gira por el Pacífico Sur, con 2 partidos en Nueva
Zelanda y 2 en Australia. En la tabla general de las tres conferencias (Australiana, Neozelandesa y
Sudafricana), los Jaguares escalaron al 5º lugar tras su cuarta victoria
consecutiva sumando 27 puntos. 1º Crusaders 42, 2º Hurricanes 36, 3º Bulls 28, 4º
Sharks 28, 5º Jaguares 27, 6º Highlanders 25, 7º Rebels 24 y 8º Stormers 24, en
los primeros 8 lugares que promocionan a los playoffs de cuartos de final. Ahora comenzará el periplo más
complicado para Jaguares con la gira por
el Pacífico Sur, con dos partidos muy
duros en el sur de la isla austral de Nueva Zelanda: con los Highlanders en
Dunedin y luego con los Hurricanes en Wellington, la capital situada en el sur
de la isla norte. Luego vendrán los choques en
Australia con los Waratahs en Sidney y
los Reds en Brisbane al noreste. El clima en Buenos Aires

Jaguares to the last breath caught fourth consecutive victory against the Stormers
