Los Pumas abren nueva etapa frente a Springboks favoritos- The Pumas open new stage against favorite Springboks

En el VII Rugby Champiosnhip 2018, los Pumas enfrentan una etapa trascendente, con desafío superlativo visitando a los Springboks que son favoritos por 15 puntos en el mítico Kings Park de Durban en el extremo este de Sudáfrica sobre el litoral del Océano Índico.  Y en el litoral este australiano, en Sidney, los Wallabies reciben a los All Blacks que son favoritos por 10 puntos.

Para Rassie Erasmus, el entrenador sudafricano que debuta en el certamen conduciendo los Springboks, ´´Los Pumas que enfrentaremos buscarán un comienzo positivo con mucha energía y motivación ante los Springboks´´,  en alusión a que el porteño Mario Ledesma que encabeza el coaching argentino, será también debutante en la máxima cita del hemisferio austral.

En 33 partidos jugados, bajo la conducción del entrenador porteño Santiago Phelan (11 derrotas y 1 empate),  luego del entrenador tucumano Daniel Hourcade,  han ganado tres partidos,  Argentina le ganó a Sudáfrica dos veces  y empató una: fue el 16-16 el estadio Malvinas Argentina de Mendoza en 2012.

El triunfo de los Pumas que marcó un hito fue en 2015 y en el mismo recinto de mañana, el Kings Park de Durban , donde los Springboks cayeron por 37-25, a distancia de 50 años cuando los Pumas (bautizados allí, en la gira por Sudáfrica y Rhodesia del Sur, luego Zimbabue), ganaron a los Juniors Springboks por 11-6 un 19 de junio de 1965 en el Ellis Park de Johannesburgo, con tries del porteño Marcelo Pascual, del rosarino Eduardo España y del cordobés Raúl Loyola. En  las tres victorias cosechadas en el Rugby Championship, destaca el segunda línea cordobés Matías Alemanno que encabeza los 9 jugadores que estuvieron presentes: los platenses  Agustín Creevy y Joaquín Tuculet y los porteños Tomás Cubelli, Lucas González Amorosino, Juan Martín Hernández, Martín Landajo, y Tomás Lavanini y el bonaerense Nahuel Tetáz Chaparro.

Ahora sigue vigente Matías Alemanno, que mañana tendrá en el pack al pilar salteño Juan Figallo y que en el banco de suplentes al también cordobés Juan Cruz Mallía como utility back.

And on the australian east coast, at Sydney, the Wallabies welcome the All Blacks who are favorites by 10 points.

For Rassie Erasmus, the South African coach who debuted in the contest leading the Springboks, "The Pumas we will face will seek a positive start with a lot of energy and motivation against the Springboks," in reference to the coachs from Buenos Aires  Mario Ledesma who leads the Argentinian coaching , will also be debutant in the top appointment of the southern hemisphere.
In 33 games played, under the guidance of Buenos Aires coach Santiago Phelan (11 losses and 1 draw), after the Tucuman coach Daniel Hourcade, they have won three games, Argentina beat South Africa twice and tied one: it was 16-16 at Malvinas Argentina stadium of Mendoza City in 2012.

Now Matías Alemanno is still in force, he will have Juan Figallo prop from Salta City in the pack tomorrow , and utility back from Córdoba City Juan Cruz Mallía, in the bench of substitutes.
