Argentina y Sudáfrica se enfrentarán sin cambios respecto a la primera jornada del Rugby Championship 2016,  en Nelspruit hace una semana donde Sudáfrica ganó con lo justo por 30-23. El entrenador Allister Coetzee, que pondrá a Vincent Koch como pilar derecho por el lesionado Julian Redelinghuys, anunció ‘’un  desafío muy difícil’’. En el estadio Padre Ernesto Martiarena de la Ciudad de Salta, Los Pumas entrenados por Daniel Hourcade tendrán  un cambio en el banco de suplentes, con Lucas González Amorosino  por  Ramiro Moyano. El flanker Juan Manuel Leguizamón jugará su cap número 70 con los Pumas. Para el entrenador Allister Coetzee,  el choque ‘’plantea diferentes problemas en el juego de conjunto. Primero, los argentinos son líderes en el rugby mundial y no es sólo un país que mejora, ya nos ganaron el año pasado. Así que va a ser un gran desafío y creo que ellos tienen su oportunidad (de ganar) en Salta". También Allister Coetzee que viene de debutar en la conducción de los Springboks en abril pasado, resaltó: ‘’ Hemos preparado bien el partido, tras una semana de entrenamiento, con  un viaje largo, pero no hay excusas para nosotros y no esperamos ningún favor de Argentina". Sobre la angustiosa victoria de 30-23 del sábado pasado en Nelspruit, sentenció: ‘’Jugamos por tramos, los primeros 19 minutos y los últimos 11 minutos. Ellos (los Pumas) tuvieron sus oportunidades, y no tomamos las nuestras, haciendo un montón de errores fundamentales por lo que hay que tener más  precisión el sábado".

For Allister Coetzee the clash  ''poses different problems in the whole game. First, Argentina are leader in world rugby and is not just a country that improvement because they won last year. So it will be a great challenge and I think they have their chance (to win) in Salta". Also Allister Coetzee coming debuting in leading the Springboks last April, he stressed: ''We have prepared well the match, after a week of training, with a long trip, but there is no excuse for us and we do not expect any favors from Argentina". On the harrowing 30-23 victory last Saturday at Nelspruit, he declared: ''We played by sections, the first 19 minutes and the last 11 minutes. They (the Pumas) had their chances, and we take ours, making a lot of fundamental mistakes so you have to be more precise on Saturday".
