Hay ilusiones y sueños ´´in crescendo´´ para los Jaguares que la semana pasada ganaron a  los Bulls 22-20 en el templo del Loftus Versfeld de Pretoria y ayer sábado produjeron una goleada histórica en el Kings Park de Durban a los Natal Sharks de 51-17, por lo que se ilusionan con los playoffs del IV Super Rugby ya que ascendieron al 7º lugar. Los Jaguares en éste trayecto de cuatro temporadas en el Super Rugby ya tienen una alta performance con impronta del interior del país, comenzando con el hat-trick del centro tucumano Matías Orlando, y siguiendo con la maniobra del apertura debutante Domingo Miotti, también tucumano  y la cobertura del octavo santiagueño Tomás Lezana.  Ellos fueron factores determinantes de un 51-17 que quedara en los anales del rugby argentino con producción solidaria de siete tries a dos. Los Jaguares están terceros con 19 puntos por 21 de su vencido Sharks y 23 del líder  los Bulls de Pretoria, los otros derrotados de éste nuevo ímpetu que embarga a los Jaguares de los cordobeses Matías Alemanno (segunda línea que se está recuperando), Enrique Pieretto Heiland (pilar derecho), Juan Cruz Mallía (apertura) y Santiago Carreras (full back), el trío protagonista llegado desde el banco de suplentes. En medio de tanta euforia, está la pausa de reflexión para los Jaguares (7º en la tabla general) y con objetivo de los Playoffs a partir del sábado 27 de abril en el estadio Vélez Sársfield cuando enfrenten a los Brumbies de Canberra (12º) que vienen de ganarle a los  Lions de Johannesburgo (9º)  por 31-20, y a los Stormers de Ciudad del Cabo (8º) el sábado 4 de mayo, y que vienen de ganar a los Melbourne Rebels (3º) por 41-20 en el profundo sur australiano. “Fue una Gira Tremenda”, resaltó el centro rosarino Jerónimo de la Fuente, capitán de éstos Jaguares que se encuentran séptimos en la tabla general de las tres conferencias (de Nueva Zelanda, Sudáfrica y Australia) y que con éstas dos históricas victorias van en búsqueda de la zona promotora de los cuartos de final.
