Barbarians y Pumas despiden el año en desafío equilibrado en Twickenham- Barbarians and Pumas bid farewell to the year in balanced challenge at Twickenham

El  pilar All Black Wyatt Crockett será el capitán de los Barbarians contra los Pumas el sábado en la catedral de Twickenham, suboeste de Londres  y en lo que representa el cuarto y último partido de Argentina en la gira por el otoño-invierno europeo, donde ya encajó tres derrotas frente a Irlanda, Francia y Escocia.  El amistoso del sábado se presenta equilibrado en cuanto al resultado. Crockett  liderará  un equipo entrenado por el sudafricano Rassie Erasmus y que cuenta con ocho internacionales sudafricanos, entre ellos los actuales Springboks: el apertura  Handre Pollard y el hooker de los  Saracens Schalk Brits. Con ellos el octavo santiagueño Juan Manuel Leguizamón, quien completará la tercera línea  con los flankers sudafricanos Siya Kolisi y Pieter-Steph Du Toit.  El full back australiano de los Chiefs, Jack Debreczeni, será el  jugador más convocado de los Baa-Baas, que son entrenados por el sudafricano . Por el lado de los Pumas el entrenador porteño Mario Ledesma, hace 10 cambios respecto al XV titular que enfrentó a Escocia en Edimburgo, perdiendo 14-9, comenzando con el full back cordobés Juan Cruz Mallía que va por su quinto cap. Junto a Mallía van como titulares el segunda línea cordobés Matías Alemanno, el pilar rionegrino Juan Pablo Zeiss, el hooker  porteño  Julián Montoya, y el flanker santiagueño Tomás Lezana; mientras que siguen como titulares el wing tucumano Ramiro Moyano, el wing porteño Sebastián Cancelliere, el centro tucumano Matías Orlando, y el centro porteño  Bautista Ezcurra. Para el porteño Ledesma, "Los scrums de hoy en Argentina duran cinco o seis segundos, razón por la cual los chicos  que vienen con nosotros se sorprenden por la dureza de un scrum y si duran más de 10 segundos, les incomoda  para poder disfrutar de ese tipo de lucha y  comprender el rumbo que tiene en otras áreas del juego".

Los Baa Baas enfrentarán Argentina XV por tercera vez en sus 128 años de historia. ´´La cohesión que logras en un equipo con un scrum sólido y el impulso psicológico lográs de eso, es inconmensurable. Si queremos superar la ronda de grupos en la Copa del Mundo, definitivamente tenemos que tener una buena defensa y en eso estamos trabajando con estos chicos que tienen 19, 20 años y  va a tomar dos a tres años alcanzar un nivel muy bueno´´, sentenció Ledesma. Sobre ese futuro a tres años vista, Ledesma aclaró: ´´Estoy seguro de que llegaremos allí, porque éstos chicos tienen la fuerza física y mental en la que podemos trabajar, pero a un año de  la Copa del Mundo es diferente. Es  más importante desarrollar a nuestros chicos al enfrentamiento a la  dureza de los scrums del hemisferio norte".

Barbarians and Pumas bid farewell to the year in balanced challenge at Twickenham

The new zealander prop  Wyatt Crockett will be the captain of the Barbarians against Pumas on Saturday at the Cathedral of Twickenham,southern west of London,  and in what represents the fourth and final match of Argentina on the tour in European autumn-winter tour, where he already conceded three defeats against Ireland, France and Scotland. Luego de  una pausa de dos años, vuelve el clásico latino entre  los 10 primeros del escalafón mundial: Francia (8º) y Argentina (9º), se enfrentarán el sábado en el estadio Pierre Mauroy de Lille (norte de Francia), en la segunda jornada de la última serie del otoño-invierno europeo, para dar paso al Super 12 con los mejores del ranking mundial. El gran reconocimiento se lo lleva el medio scrum mendocino Gonzalo Bertranou,  la mejor opción del año por delante de los porteños Martín Landajo y últimamente de Tomás Cubelli. Además, es el socio absoluto del apertura tucumano  Nicolás Sánchez  en la maniobra ofensiva. Hubiese sido otra performance  con ellos ante Irlanda el pasado sábado en el Lansdowne Road de Dublín. Les Bleus y los Pumas buscarán recuperarse de las derrotas infligidas por Sudáfrica (29-26) e Irlanda (28-17), el pasado sábado, respectivamente y terminar  rachas negativas ya que Francia viene de perder la gira por Nueva Zelanda en junio por 3-0 y con Sudáfrica suma un 4-0 rotundo. Argentina viene de encajar su tercera derrota consecutiva. Por lo que el entrenador francés Jacques Brunel como el porteño Mario Ledesma buscan dar confianza a sus respectivos equipos titulares.
