Comienza 19º Seis Naciones europeo con Inglaterra doble campeón - Start 19th European Six Nations European with England double champion

El Seis Naciones Europeo 2018, comienza el sábado su 19º  edición, bajo el signo de los dobles campeones salientes Inglaterra, entrenados por el japonés-australiano  Eddie Jones, y que debutan el domingo en el Olímpico de Roma frente a Italia (12:00 de Argentina).

En la primera jornada abren las hostilidades el sábado Gales vs Escocia en el Principality de Cardiff, y posteriormente Francia vs Irlanda en el Stade de France de Paris, y se completa con Italia vs Inglaterra en el Olímpico de Roma.

El XV de la rosa de Lancaster, llega al debut tras una serie de noviembre espectacular que consolidó su segundo lugar en del mundo, únicamente por detrás de los dobles campeones mundial All Blacks por lo que buscará su tercer  título consecutivo. Las victorias sobre Argentina, Samoa y Australia fueron requisitos previos  para mostrar todas las características de la Inglaterra de Jones. Aunque a veces no era convincente, han luchado por replicar la forma que los hizo tan efectivos en 2016.

En la derrota ante Irlanda del año pasado, que puso fin a su racha de 18 victorias consecutivas, parecía Inglaterra  estar atrapada por la magia del apertura y goleador  Johnny Sexton, pero siguió siendo favorita para éste 2018, si bien Irlanda es el desafiante para el cetro. El año pasado el equipo de Jones rara vez acertó en la competencia y una mala actuación ante Francia (19-16 en Twickenham), fue seguida por estrecha victoria de 21-16 sobre Gales en el Principality de Cardiff.

Ante los Azzurri ganaron por 36-15 en el templo de Twickenham, donde golearon a Escocia por 61-21 en su mejor exhibición y suficiente para retener su título, aunque no pudo repetir en el último partido cayendo ante Irlanda en el Lansdowne Road de Dublín 13-9. Tras el Seis Naciones Europeo 2018, la ventana de junio en el otoño argentino, los Pumas recibirán a Gales en doble confrontación en el estadio Bicentenario de San Juan (9 de junio) y Estadio Brigadier Estanislao López de Santa Fe (16 de junio), cerrando la serie frente a Escocia en el estadio Centenario de Resistencia (23 de junio).

Primera fecha: 3 de febrero, Gales –Escocia (11:15 hora argentina) y Francia-Irlanda (14:00 hrs de Argentina), domingo 4 de febrero Italia-Inglaterra (12:00 hora argentina).

Start 19th European Six Nations European with England double champion

The European Six Nations 2018, begins on Saturday its 19th edition, under the sign of the outgoing double champions England, trained by the Japanese-Australian Eddie Jones, and debuting on Sunday at the Olympic of Rome against Italy (12:00 Argentina time) .
