Mundial de Seven 2017/2018, destacaron en Los Pumas 7's el dúo cordobés formado
por Conrado Roura con una tripleta y Luciano González Rizzoni con doblete de
espectacular factura.
En la escuadra argentina del juego reducido el cordobés Fernando Luna apoyó el primer try al
minuto de juego del encuentro inicial frente a las Águilas de Estados Unidos
ganando 22-14 y luego cayeron ante Nueva Zelanda por 21-19 estando en ventaja.
Finalmente, Argentina 7s cayó ante Samoa por 22-12
en el cierre de la etapa clasificatoria de grupos por lo que disputará los cuartos de final en la Copa de Bronce mañana
a partir de las 03:14 frente a Uganda. Los Pumas 7s deben mejorar en el
repliegue defensivo y el scrum, una
plataforma neurálgica.
A Estados Unidos, Argentina 7s marcó tres ensayos con los cordobeses
Fernando Luna y Conrado Roura (2) y el porteño Franco Sábato; a Nueva Zelanda
dos tries del cordobés Conrado Roura y del porteño Rodrigo Etchart y a Samoa un
doblete de Luciano González Rizzoni.
