El  Seis Naciones 2016, comenzó bajo el signo de la redención tras el fracaso de sus integrantes en el Mundial de Inglaterra 2015 donde el mismísimo anfitrión quedó eliminado en primera ronda clasificatoria junto a Italia, mientras que los  otros cuatro sucumbieron ante las Cuatro Naciones del Hemisferio Sur. Hoy  hay cuatro entrenadores  extranjeros para dar un golpe de timón: el australiano EddieJones en Inglaterra y  tres neozelandeses: Warren Gatland con Gales, Joe Schmidt en Irlanda y Vern Cotter en Escocia. Entre ellos destaca un galés: Robert Howley, desde hace ocho años entrenador asistente de los Dragones Rojos de Gales. Conozco a Rob Howley desde 1998 cuando los Dogos de Córdoba realizaron su primera y única gira internacional y fue por las Islas Británicas en enero de 1998 cuando participaron del "Welsh Challenge Trophy", junto a Tucumán (entrenado por Nicolás Rizzo, Daniel Hourcade y Pedro Merlo) y Rosario.  Robert Howley no pudo jugar como medio scrum del Cardiff RFC ante Córdoba por lesión producida en la gira de los Leones Británicos e Irlandeses en 1997 por Sudáfrica, Jugó 59 caps por los Dragones Rojos de Gales apoyando 10 tries y fue capitán 22 tests de los cuales ganó 15. Y terminó en la selección galesa en 2001 cuando sufrió  fractura de costilla en la gira por Australia. Jugó por Bridgend, Cardiff RFC y London Wasps, levantando la Heineken Cup europea en Twickenham en mayo del 2004 y en diciembre de ese año debutó como entrenador siendo asistente del australiano Bob Dwyer con los Barbarians que enfrentaron a los All Blacks en Twickenham.

En 2005 fue entrenador de los Cardiff Blues hasta el 2008 cuando debutó como entrenador de ataque de Gales conducido por el neozelandés Warren Gatland, ganando tres Seis Naciones y ser semifinalista en el mundial de Nueva Zelanda 2011. Hoy Gales con Gatland y Howley busca redimirse del fracaso en el mundial  de Inglaterra 2015 (aunque fue el mejor de los europeos perdiendo en cuartos ajustadamente ante Sudáfrica por 23-19). Ahora vienen  de empatarle al bicampeón Irlanda en su propio feudo del Lansdowne Road 16-16. El sñabado en la segunda fecha Gales recibirá Escocia en el templo del Millennium Stadium de Cardiff, mientras que Francia hará lo propio ante Irlanda en el Stade France de Saint Denis. El domingo Italia será anfitrión de Inglaterra en el Olímpico de Roma.

Six Nations 2016, began under the sign of redemption after the failure of its members in the 2015 World Cup in England where the host himself was eliminated in first qualifying round along with Italy, while four others succumbed to the Four Nations of the Hemisphere South. Today there are four foreign coaches to give a change of direction: the Australian Eddie Jones in England and three New Zealanders: Warren Gatland with Wales, Joe Schmidt  with Ireland and Vern Cotter in  Scotland. Among them is a Welshman Robert Howley, eight years assistant coach  with Red Dragons  of Wales. I know Rob Howley since 1998 when the Dogos of Cordoba  (Provincial Selection of Córdoba)  made their first and only international tour and it was for the British Isles in January 1998  as part of the "Welsh Challenge Trophy" with Tucumán (coached by Nicholas Rizzo, Daniel Hourcade and Pedro Merlo) and Rosario.

 Robert Howley could not play at scrum half of Cardiff RFC  against Córdoba  for injury sustained on the tour of the British and Irish Lions in 1997 by South Africa, played 59 caps for the Red Dragons  of Wales  scored  10 tries and was captain 22 tests of which he won 15 and finished in the Welsh team in 2001 when he suffered a fractured rib in the tour of Australia. He played for Bridgend, Cardiff and London Wasps RFC, lifting the Heineken European Cup at Twickenham in May 2004 and in December of that year he debuted as an assistant coach  of Australian Bob Dwyer  with  Barbarians faced with the All Blacks at Twickenham. In 2005 he coached the  Cardiff Blues  until 2008 when he made his debut as coach of attack of Wales led by New Zealander Warren Gatland, winning three Six Nations and semifinalist in the  New Zealand World Cup 2011. Today Wales  with Gatland and Howley seeks to redeem the failure to England world Cup 2015 (although it was the best of European losing narrowly to South Africa in the quarter by 23 to 19).  Ande now come to Ireland champion  with draw on home soil  by 16-16  at Lansdowne Road. The second rounbd  is on Saturday  when Wales receive Scotland at the temple of Millennium Stadium,  in Cardiff while France  coached by the debutant  frenchman Guy Noves will do the same against Ireland at the Stade France in Saint Denis. On Sunday Italy  coached by the frenchman  Jacques Brunel  will host England at the Olympic Stadium of Rome.

La deuxième samedi  le  Pays de Galles reçoit .l’Ecosse au temple du  Millennium Stadium,  à  Cardiff, tandis que la France  avec la guide  du debutant entraineur Guy Noves, fera le même contre l'Irlande au Stade France à Saint Denis.
