Wallabies-Pumas concitan la atención mundial

La cuarta fecha del Rugby Championship promete dos choques de alto contenido técnico como competitivo comenzando por el desafío entre Wallabies y Pumas en Gold Coast y terminando con el que asumirán All Blacks y Springboks en Dunedin.

Se trata de dos encuentros en el hemisferio sur, que concitan toda la atención  mundial ya que se trata del “Ecuador” del torneo que ya disputó y tres partidos con Nueva Zelanda líder por delante de Australia, Sudáfrica y Argentina.

En el “Skilled Park” de Gold Coast se palpita batalla entre Wallabies y Pumas, en las formaciones fijas,  particularmente en el scrum y en los puntos de ruptura del juego desplegado y que fue estudiado hasta en los mínimos detalles por los entrenadores.

Por  eso el apertura australiano (de origen neocelandés) Quade Cooper admitió  que” ha habido gran cantidad de investigación realizada en Argentina de cómo se mueven los Pumas en las formaciones fijas y espontáneas”.

"Hubo una gran cantidad de grabaciones fílmicas que fueron observadas con detenimiento durante la semana por parte de los chicos del plantel", dijo Cooper antes del choque.

"Son  imprevisibilidad y esa es la principal fortaleza que tienen los Pumas, además de su pack de forwards. Definitivamente son un equipo que no está tomando a la ligera en absoluto este partido que vienen a ganar", sentenció Cooper.

Pero Cooper no contará cn su socio de aventuras y estrega de Australia, el medio scrum Will Gebia que viene de ser operado ayer por rotura de ligamentos cruzados anteriores de su rodilla derechay que será sustituído por  Nick Phipps.

 Argentina se ha preparado convenientemente, poniendo énfasis en sus delanteros considerados por los propios adversarios de mañana,  como los que mejor interpretan el empuje coordinado en el scrum, y de contar con gran destreza para mauls y rucks.

Mientras que en el “Forsyth Stadium” de Dunedin en el profundo sur de Nueva Zelanda,  los All Blacks y los Springboks pondrán de manifiesto la estrategia  para frenar vehementes cargas por las puntas de sus backs para llegar a apoyar en la tierra prometida.

Steve Hansen viene de poner fuera del equipo al medio scrum  Aaron Smith de 24 años por indisciplina, y poner en su lugar al experimentado Piri Weepu que jugará su 63° “caps”. No es tan rápido como Smith, pero le asegura mejor maniobra ofensiva al joven apertura Aaron Cruden.

Wallabies, Pumas ranks first worldwide attention

The fourth day of clashes Rugby Championship promises two highly technical and competitive starting the challenge between Pumas and Wallabies in Gold Coast and ending with the All Blacks and Springboks in Dunedin.

But Cooper will not for the his adventures and rubs partner of Australia scrum half Will Genia that comes from being operated  yesterday in the anterior cruciate ligaments in his right knee  to be replaced by Nick Phipps.

Argentina has been suitably prepared, emphasizing their forwards considered by tomorrow's adversaries, such as those that best interpret the coordinated push in the scrum, and great skill to have mauls and rucks.

While in the "Forsyth Stadium" of Dunedin in the deep south of New Zealand, the All Blacks and the Springboks will reveal the strategy to curb vehement charges by the tips of their backs to reach the try at the “promised land”.
