Los
Tupis de Brasil, entrenados por el cordobés Rodolfo Carlos Ambrosio, acaban de
provocar la primera derrota de los Pumas B en el ámbito sudamericano, cuando se
llevan disputadas dos jornadas del Seis Naciones de Sudamérica. Un hecho que
conmocionó al rugby mundial.

XV, segunda selección nacional después de los Pumas, ya que Jaguares cuenta con los mismos jugadores que el primer
seleccionado, presentó ante los Tupis de Brasil en Newman (el club del
entrenador porteño Felipe Contepomi), a jugadores con trayectoria
internacional.Entre ellos a los porteños Tomás Cubelli, Joaquín Díaz Bonilla, Juan Cruz Gonzáles, los tucumanos Benjamín Macome Santiago Portillo y Sabtiago Resino y los cordobeses , Franco Brarda, y Nicolás Cantarutti. A los que se agregan jugadores procedentes de los Pumitas en Mundial M20.
Los Pumas B debutaron en Asunción, ganando a Paraguay 64-3 y en el Club Newman en la periferia de Buenos Aires, enfrentó a Brasil ayer perdiendo por 36-33 y recibirá a Uruguay XV, el próximo domingo 20 en la misma cancha.
Según Felipe Contepomi, "Hay que responsabilizarse.
Los partidos son de 80’ y no sirve jugar 40’ y después bajar la cortina, dando la sensación
de que queríamos que terminara el partido. Hay que erradicar eso de todo
jugador, pero especialmente de un jugador de seleccionado, porque serlo es un
privilegio y hay que hacer valer cada minuto en el que uno se pone la camiseta
argentina".
Mientras que el cordobés Rodolfo Carlos Ambrosio, entrenador-jefe
de Los Tupis de Brasil, puso de relieve: ’Tuvimos un muy buen scrum y porque se
mantuvo la capacidad para mantener el ritmo en el segundo tiempo, pero no
imaginábamos ganar, aunque uno siempre trabaja para eso, para ganar . Ahora hay
que dar vuelta la página y pensar en el futuro, el próximo juego’’.
Los resultados de la 2da. Jornada: Argentina 33
– Brasil 36, Uruguay 20 – Chile 22 y Paraguay 28 – Colombia 26. La tercera
fecha se jugará el sábado 19 con el
siguiente programa: Chile vs. Paraguay, y Brasil vs. Colombia. El domingo 20 en
Club Newman: Argentina vs. Uruguay.
