Chile-Brasil y Estados Unidos-Argentina
XV.
Jaguares
like Pumas B seek redemption
Today
the Argentinian rugby, with the exception of
Pumas 7s who are fifth in World Tour Sevens 2017/2018, seeks redemption
with the duo Jaguares-Pumas B, who already live challenges in Super Rugby, as
in Six Nations of the Americas . Go future uphill.
The Jaguares premiere new coach, Mario Ledesma from Buenos Aires accompanied by Buenos Aires’s Nicolás Fernández Miranda and Martín Gaitán from Entre Ríos, to redeem himself in the new version of Super Rugby 15; that is, with three franchises less than in 2017.
While the Pumas B trained by Felipe Contepomi and Ignacio Fernandez Lobbe from Buenos Aires and Diego Ternavasio from Tucumán, face hard life against Uruguay and Canada, motivated and better prepared for IX World Cup dreams in Japan 2019.
That is why this staging of the Saturday acquires significance for the squads that will later give life to the Pumas from June until the end of the year. For the Jaguares it is about reaching the quarterfinals in Super Rugby 15 and for the Pumas B recovering the primacy.
The Jaguares expect a friendly in South Africa against the Bulls in Pretoria on February 10, to debut in Cape Town against the Stormers, on February 17. And Pumas B debuts in United States on February 3 against the Eagles, outgoing champions of the 2017 tournament.

So
the teams become a squad that must generate members for both selections almost
contemporarily and there are no starters or substitutes, until checking on the
field of play what is the real situation of players' shape.
An emblematic example is represented by the prop of Dogos and Tala RC, Franco Brarda who remains in Jaguares squad, despite being involved in Pumas B squad and with another perspective for the season that is about to begin.
The Six Nations of Americas 2018, debuts on Saturday with Canada vs Uruguay in Vancouver, and is eligible for World Rugby ranking, as for qualification to the 2019 World Championship, with a rematch on February 3 at Montevideo, completed by Chile-Brazil and United States-Argentina XV.
