La temporada otoño-invierno del rugby internacional concluirá para Argentina mañana ante Georgia, a partir de las 16:15 en el estadio  ’’23 de Agosto’’ del Club Gimnasia y Esgrima en  Ciudad de San Salvador de Jujuy, tras las derrotas frente a Inglaterra en Ciudades de San Juan y de Santa Fe.

Los Pumas son favoritos por 15 puntos para ganar a Georgia, tras 9 derrotas . en sus últimos 10 partidos internacionales entre Rugby Championship y Seis Naciones. Un reflejo de los Jaguares, con cinco victorias de 12 desafíos en Super Rugby en la conferencia Africa 2 liderada por los Lions de Johannesburgo.

Argentina  y Georgia se enfrentarán  por quinta vez con cuatro triunfos albicelestes anteriores: en Francia 2007 por  33-3 (Lyon) en Nueva Zelanda 2011 por 25-7 (Palmerston North), en San Juan por 29-18 (2013) y en Inglaterra 2015 por 54-9 (Gloucester).

Georgia viene de ganar a Canadá y Estados Unidos en los últimos partidos y si no hubiera perdido 8-7 ante Rumania en marzo podría haber hilvanado siete partidos invicto. Claro que a  diferencia de las confrontaciones de Argentina, sus oponentes internacionales no han sido de la misma jerarquía.

Además, Georgia M20 le ganó a Argentina M20 por 26-25 (23-11) en las semifinales por el 9º lugar del Mundial Juvenil M20 de Georgia 2017, en partido disputado en el Mikheil Meskhi Stadium, de Tbilisi.

The autumn-winter season of international rugby will conclude for Argentina tomorrow against Georgia, from 16:15 at ''23 de Agosto' Stadium 'of Club Gimnasia y Esgrima in San Salvador de Jujuy City, after defeats against England in Cities of San Juan and Santa Fe.
