In the errors festival, won Crusaders and is the three-time champion, in IV Super Rugby 2019

The Canterbury Crusaders are three-time champions in the IV Super Rugby 2019, beating the Jaguares by 19-3 (10-3) in a final played at the OrangeTheory Stadium in Christchurch (South Island of New Zealand), with 18,000 spectators on a cold night and  5th of temperature.

The highest tournament in the southern hemisphere at the level of provincial teams, was won for the third year in a row and for the tenth time in its history, by Crusaders trained by Scott Robertson and Irishman Ronan O'Gara. In festival of errors, fly half  All Black Richie Mo'unga, was the author of 4 penalties goals and the conversion of the only try (25 ') of  hooker Codie Taylor. While the Argentinian provincial team, had a penalty goal  (15 ') converted by the Buenos Aires’s fly half   Joaquín Díaz Bonilla, replaced the 62' by fly half from  Tucumán, Domingo Miotti (should have been a starter) of excellent performance with his millimeters kicks. To get out of the pressure, the Crusaders had twice as many tackles as the Jaguares, since they were forced to get out of contact when making driving mistakes (6-1) in decisive moments, since the wing from Buenos Aires, Matias Moroni, missed an opportunity of scoring a try at the end of the first half, losing the ball to two tackles near the ingol, finishing the partial 10-3. The same Matías Moroni from Buenos Aires, had the opportunity again at the beginning of the second half to provoke a try for the Jaguares when he threw his kick in the right flank, but his pass to Matías Orlando centre from Tucumán,  was wrong and there the Crusaders redoubled their series of tackles for leaving the overcome a hot flash capitalizing on the Argentinians infractions with penalties converted by Mo'unga. The Crusaders with their 12 All Blacks in their starting squad, came out on the boarding, but could not break a defense led by the Buenos Aires’s  flanker Pablo Matera (the Man of the Match), and in the second half by the Cordoba’s tight head prop Enrique Pieretto Heiland (who must have been a starter) and hooker Julián Montoya (who also had to have been a starter). Moroni, once again, had the opportunity to try in the 68th minute, but the rebound hit him through the dead ball line and it was the last attempt for the Jaguares, who could not repeat the high intensity for lack of individual skill throughout the game; losing in the scrum and in the lines, although recovering balls lost by the New Zealanders. The Jaguares lived up to the circumstances, despite the '' Jet-lag '' disadvantages of long-distance travel and with 15 hours of time zone. But the challenge was to face the team that came from a 30-game winning streak in Christchurch and were contesting their 14th final to embroider with their 10th. Star.
