wingers Aphiwe Dyantyi y Makazole
Traumatizing debut for Pumas against
Springboks in Rugby Championship 2018
The Pumas debuted with defeat
on the first round in VII Rugby Championship 2018, against the Springboks who
won 34-21 (10-14) at Kings Park in Durban, where the figure was scrum half Faf
De Klerk. The rematch will be Saturday at Malvinas Argentinas Stadium of Mendoza City. The All Blacks' solid
triumph over the Wallabies 38-13 in Sydney completed the opening round.
The more determined and better performing Springboks won by the maneuvers of the wingers Aphiwe Dyantyi and Makazole Mapimpi who scored two tries each at key moments of the contest, highlighting the cracks in the defense of the Pumas side that fit six tries in his groin by three of Pablo Matera and Matías Moroni from Buenos Aires and Nicolás Sánchez from Tucumán.
They also scored for South Africa Lukhanyo Am and Faf de Klerk, to continue the unbeaten record started in the confrontation with the Northern Hemisphere in June, where they won two of the three challenges against England. For captain Siya Kolisi, "We made many mistakes, which was disappointing because we worked hard on our discipline, but the effort improves every week".
Those that will have to work hard will be the Pumas side with cracks in the centre of the pitch where Matías Moroni and Bautista Ezcurra from Buenos Aires, did not forget the consecrated couple of centre formed by Jerónimo de la Fuente from Rosario and Matías Orlando from Tucumán. In the background, quite pressured, Juan Cruz Mallía from Córdoba, replaced the wing from Buenos Aires Bautista Delguy.
