La segunda vuelta
en Nacionales de Clubes A y B propuso revanchas muy duras para el cuarteto cordobés
que recolectó un triunfo, un empate y dos derrotas en cuarta fecha disputada
hasta el último aliento, con alta intensidad, y con cuesta arriba para
clasificar a cuartos de final que solo hoy Urú Curé hizo bien las cuentas.
El desafío es al
último respiro para los pretendientes al cetro como los porteños Regatas de
Bella Vista en zona 1, Hindú de Don Torcuato en zona 2 y Newman de Benavidez en
zona 3, siendo la excepción que marca la regla los riocuartences de Urú Curé en
zona 4.
Claro que también
quieren decir los suyo los segundos de esas zonas: los tucumanos de Huirapuca
de Concepción en zona 1 y Tucumán Rugby de Yerba Buena en Zona 2. La incógnita
está en zona 3 con Universitario de Buenos Aires y Tala de Córdoba, como Ateneo
de la Inmaculada y San Luis de La Plata en la zona 4.
Por lo que la
quinta fecha del sábado pondrá el sello de quienes tienen las condiciones de
clasificar en choques directos como Regatas-Huirapuca (zona 1), Hindú-Tucumán
Rugby (zona 2), Tala-Universitario de Buenos Aires (zona 3) y Ateneo de la
Inmaculada -Los Tarcos y San Luis-Urú Curé (zona 4).
Particularmente
Urú Curé va con determinación a La Plata después de doblegar al Ateneo de la
Inmaculada de Santa Fe por 29-20 (7-12) en
cuarta victoria consecutiva y liderato en zona 4 con 16 puntos por 10 de los
santafecinos y 9 de los platenses cuando restan dos fechas por jugarse.
Soles del Oeste,
teatro de los sueños de La Lechuza Solitaria, fue escenario donde los
delanteros riocuartences fueron protagonistas para torcer el rumbo hacia los
cuartos de final, donde el Ateneo de la Inmaculada santafecino deberá hacer las cuentas con el San Luis platense en
la última fecha clasificatoria en dos semanas.
Por el lado de
Tala tras encajar la segunda derrota tras aquella ante el Universitario porteño;
ahora el Universitario tucumano lo sometió en su feudo por 31-22, y se tomó
revancha de aquel 44-22 sufrido en Villa Warcalde. El sábado Tala
tiene exámen de madurez determinante con el Universitario porteño para ganar
parte de los 10 puntos en juego, que llevan a los cuartos de final de un torneo
muy equilibrado y donde hay que estar muy despiertos, tener otra velocidad de
marcha y concentración los 80 minutos de juego sin arranques de indisciplina.
Para alcanzar la
segunda fase, los campeones de Córdoba deben remontar la tabla del grupo 3 desde
la tercera posición donde suman 7 puntos, por 14 de los porteños de Newman, 10
del Universitario porteño y 5 del Universitario tucumano.
En el Nacional de
Clubes B, el Jockey Club Córdoba tiene verdaderos desafíos para conquistar los
cuartos de final al sumar 8 puntos junto a Jockey Club de Salta, mientras que los
porteños de Alumni cuentan con 15 unidades y Sporting de Mar del Plata cierra
la zona 2 con 6 puntos y será visitante del Jockey cordobés el sábado en el
Country.

Villa María se niega a levantar bandera blanca tras perder ante Old Christian
33-26 en Montevideo en grupo 2 y quedarse con 5 puntos por 19 de los porteños
de Pucará, 12 de los uruguayos de Old Christian
